Jumbo Loan Limits in Sacramento County California in 2016

What is a jumbo loan? In the Sacramento area a jumbo loan is any loan that is over the conforming loan limit. Jumbo loans typically will go up to $2 million and anything over $2 million is considered a “super jumbo loan.” FHA jumbo loans are approved by HUD and private jumbo loans are obtainable through many private lenders who each have varying standards when it comes to LTV, debt to income ratios, credit scores and down payments.
