Jumbo Loan Limits in Mendocino County California in 2016

All over Mendocino County, families are commencing to acquire houses again — and depending on budget, many of the homes that people can now pay for still require a jumbo loan. In the Mendocino area a jumbo loan is any loan that is more than the conforming loan limit. Jumbo loans generally will go up to $2 million and anything over $2 million is viewed as a super jumbo loan.

Several various  jumbo loan alternatives are available to those living in the Mendocino area – through either the FHA jumbo loan program or through a number of private lenders (such as US Bank) who each have different requirements when it comes to debt to income ratios, credit scores and down payments.
